This workshop was motivated by the wish of our management to improve several key issues of the Division: communication and information, the services provided to the CERN Community, the image of the Division and confidence of its staff, and the best global integration of our newly recruited engineers.
The workshop started on Tuesday evening and ended after lunch on Friday. Tuesday evening was used for installation in the hotel, verification of its conference facilities and a final meeting of the Program Committee before the workshop. A total of eight two-hour sessions have been held during Wednesday and Thursday, morning and late afternoon. On Friday morning we summarised the sessions and drew the basic conclusions of the workshop and we listened to the presentations of our invited speakers.
