This second ST workshop was held in CHAMONIX from 2nd to 5th February 1999 at the Hotel Alpina.
The ST participants included engineers newly recruited in 1998, and, of course, contributors.
The subjects were centred around three main themes: General Services provided to CERN Community, Technical Support for accelerators and experiments, and LHC and other projects. The workshop started on Tuesday afternoon, and proceeded to Thursday lunch time with presentations given by ST staff members, followed on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning with the contributions from guests and invited speakers.
